In April of 2006, we returned to Pass Christian and stayed with our new friends in the AmeriCorps tent city again.  We continued to work an Craig’s home and Gloria’s home, who we began helping on our last trip. 

 

We also met and worked on the homes of several others in, mostly the elderly, disabled or those with extenuating circumstances that had made it very difficult for them to return to their homes. 

 

We tried to bring as many supplies as we could because, in many cases, even when victims had received insurance payouts, there were not enough supplies available in the region for them to purchase and/or no one available to do the work.
