Midland relief trip 3 June 16-18

Hi All! We'll be back in Midland this Tuesday - Thursday June 16-18 and are looking for more volunteers! Thank you to all those who joined us this past week. We finished the Saylor's home and about half the drywalling at the Sterling's home.  Jim Sterling is an 82 year-old veteran and he and his wife Marge lost nearly everything they had in their home of 24 years and are currently living in their RV.

You can drive back and forth or stay the night(s) at our church base, New Life Vineyard 1014 E Ashman St, Midland, MI 48642.  No special skills are needed, just able hands.

Please email us at support@isaiah5812.org if you can make it out! A little of your time means a great deal to those who have lost so much.

Have a blessed day,

The Isaiah 58:12 Team

Midland relief trip 2 June 9-12

Help is needed for our next trip to Midland! A huge thank you to those who were able to make it out and help this past week at the Ritter’s and Saylor’s homes!  We completed the re-drywalling and mudding at Ritter’s and half of the dry-wall at the Saylor’s.  We have one and a half homes we have committed to finishing, but we would love to continue after that if we have the volunteers!

We will be returning this coming Tuesday-Friday, June 9-12.  Please consider volunteering on one or more of these days! You can drive back and forth or stay the night(s) at our church base, New Life Vineyard 1014 E Ashman St, Midland, MI 48642.  No special skills are needed, just able hands (see optional packing list in the announcement below).

Email us at support@isaiah5812.org if you can make it out! Those in need are so grateful. Have a blessed day!

Volunteers Needed – Relief Trip to Midland, MI (June 1-5)

We are requesting volunteers to assist with our first flood relief trip to Midland, MI next week (June 1-5).  The Midland community banded together to help each other remove water-damaged furniture, appliances, flooring and drywall from all the homes in flooded areas and many are now applying mold inhibitors.  Yesterday, Fulton & his daughter Jessica delivered supplies and surveyed a number of worksites that will be ready for drywall by Monday. Over the coming weeks Isaiah 58:12 will be sending volunteers to help re-drywall at homes in the greatest need.

Our home base and point of contact is New Life Vineyard Church. We will stay at the church and can utilize their kitchen for meals, and will also get meals like pizza and subs from local businesses. Bring cash for food if you are able, but Isaiah 58:12 can cover gas and food for any who need it.

Check out the details below and please respond to this email letting us know what dates you can make it and if you would like to car pool or drive yourself (the drive is about 2 hours 40 minutes each way).  Regardless of whether you can come for the week, overnight, or even the day your assistance would be greatly appreciated by those in need.
